Google's Super Satellite Captures First Image / La primer imagen capturada por el satelite de Google

Navegando en Wired, encontré está imagen, que se supone es la primera imagen tomada desde el espacio por el GeoEye1.



Este satélite fue lanzado el pasado mes de Septiembre, pero a causa de ciertas calibraciones necesarias es hata el día de ayer que fue tomada la primera imagen.

Según Wired, Google no es dueño sino el segundo parthner más grande de la National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Con una dimensión de 41 cm, con las fotos tomadas por el GeoEye1, es posible hacer zoom en una imagen y ver una base de un estadio de besibol, según Mark Brender, Vicepresidente de Comunicaciones de GeoEye1.
